Mick Rock known for his seminal work with Bowie, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and Syd Barrett amongst others. A graduate of Cambridge University who followed his fascination with rock & roll by taking photographs. He started with Syd Barrett the founder of Pink Floyd and became official photographer to David Bowie just before his Ziggy Stardust period. He was responsible for some of the iconographic album covers of the '70's. After moving to New York he worked with performers such as Blondie, the Ramones and Talking Heads. Mick Rock's photo of Johny Rotten of the Sex Pistols was their first US national magazine cover. In this talk he takes you on a journey through his archive in words and pictures....
